In December 2008, Patrick Bates Land Company changed to Bates · Sanders · Swan Land Company in recognition of 26 years of combined association with Sam R. Sanders and Michael S. Swan. Bates · Sanders · Swan Land Company continues to specialize in marketing and acquiring exclusive properties located primarily in Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, and Nebraska. Properties handled consist of beautiful blocks of recreational land, solid operating livestock ranches, productive farms, and a few selected commercial and residential parcels. From 1970 through 2008 Patrick Bates Land Company closed over 550 transactions on more than 1,500,000 deeded acres of Western land approaching $1.5 Billion in total value. The Company is fashioned after a small investment banking firm providing focused personal service for each client by seeking to understand their interests in selling or acquiring land.
